ON A MISSION FOR SECURITY

WELCOME TO SPARC

INTERESTED IN CYBERSECURITY?

Then you’ve come to the right place! SPARC is a free cybertraining programme run by the Swiss Armed Forces. It is open to all Swiss citizens aged 16 and over and takes place before military service.

SPARC is your springboard to becoming a Cyber Defender for Switzerland. Whether you already have a background in IT or have always been fascinated by cybersecurity, networks, coding, cryptography or solving complex problems, SPARC is for you. It gives you the foundation you need for a future in the Swiss Armed Forces, the public sector or the private sector – helping to protect Switzerland from cyberattacks.

Interested? Read on, sign up for an onboarding event, and join SPARC!

SPARC IN A NUTSHELL

SPARC is a blended learning programme that combines classic e-learning content with hands-on virtual training scenarios and in-person experience days.

On the SPARC platform, you can develop your cyberskills independently across a range of subject areas. You can complete the courses and virtual training scenarios at a time that suits you – the learning is flexible and self-paced.

In addition to the online platform, SPARC holds several experience days across Switzerland each year. At these live events, you’ll meet up to 74 other SPARC participants. You’ll get to know each other as a team, collaborate on engaging activities, participate in competitive challenges, and put your skills to the test.
